cedars of lebanon: fall(ish)

i went to cedars of lebanon mid-october while we were on fall break and gabriel was in gatlinburg with his dad. i didn't really expect to see much, but was pleasantly surprised. nature was putting on a gorgeous show still.

cocoa daisy: november reveal "gathering"

last night was the reveal at cocoa daisy! the november kits are called "gathering" and they are just lovely, per usual. the color combo is a bit unexpected for this time of year which makes it absolutely refreshing. it was another effortless month on the scrappy front. i threw together three layouts and two project life pages in one day. wowzas! today i worked on my november daisydori planner. i think it's time to tidy up now and then make a list of what else i want to create with it. dfefinitely i will need more time with the kitty stamps. definitely.

youtube: journal with me #1

i've been trying to do a few "journal with me" videos as their called on youtube. i never could get the hang (or the interest really) in making process videos for scrapbooking, but for some reason i'm all about it with my traveler's notebook. this is the first one and it's a page in my "learn something new" insert for shimelle laine's september journaling class. thanks for watching!

opryland hotel

we went to the opryland hotel last week to take pictures of one of my former students. i love keeping in touch with all my great kids.

of course i had to take photos of all the pretty flowers while we were there. it was so nice to be in a warm, exotic local for a couple of hours.

the orchids were especially stunning.

and then there was this, lol. he doesn't look very impressed, does he? don't feel too sorry for him. he got to stop at the lego store across the street on the way home. ;)
