wchs: endless summer

i went over to my high school right before our florida trip to see what was left of summer and if any bits of fall had arrived yet on the ridge there.  i found lots of pretty things to photograph and the sunlight was magical.  we've actually had a mild fall so far, but our first cold front is moving in tonight.  big sigh.

i saw this really cool piece of light in the clouds on my way home.  my instagram friends tell me it's called a sundog.  i had never seen one before.  it was awesome.  :)

  1. That's a magical kind of end of summer light we don't often see here...but it has me thinking immediately of movies, with dusty roads and low light and stories about summer coming to an end
