chewing gum and then a few of them i added a little lemon drops smeared over the pink. i think it gives them nice depth. when the paint was dry i went over them all with a thin layer of glue for shine and while the glue was still wet i added the little numbers i cut from the lotto paper. i ended up using 6 of my 7 papers too. awesome, right?
i also used most of my trim. i layered pink vellum medallions over the top trim punched with the jbs fiskars blue ribbon punch. then i machine stitched over the green trim and hand stitched over the bottom trim. love all the little details.
i thought the title turned out nicely too. i was missing an "o" and i tried cutting one from patterned paper but they kept looking too distracting. i finally used a c and an asterisk and perfection! the little banner below is cut from kraft paper and edged with brown sugar ink.
