jbs mercantile october: oversized alphas

well, friends.  i had started playing with all that patterned paper i curated yesterday, and i had so much fun that i didn't get my work done (again).  oh, well.  at least i'm on vacation, right?  work can wait.

i don't quite have that layout finished yet, but i do have the rest of my october jbs mercantile layouts edited and ready to share.  this one is making an appearance on the jbs inspiration blog today!  be sure to swing by there and see more samples of how to use this amazing oversized alpha set from the october artisan add-on.

these are from g's all time favorite cub scout campout, the webelo outdoor challenge.  we're set to go again at the end of this month.  we can hardly wait!  (except i have my fingers crossed that it's not too cold this time).

many thanks to jill sprott for the sequins on a string inspiration.  she is one clever girl!

i colored in my alphas with some sharpies and backed the hole in the "o" with a forest scene from a vintage label in the antiquarian add-on.  i love how this oversized title turned out!  i've also got a birthday banner finished with these alphas (i'll be sharing it here soon) and still have tons left.  what a great set from mambi!
